Fri 20 November - Sun 21 November - Trip to Fermanagh

Our second trip of the year will be to Fermanagh from Friday 20th November to Sunday 22nd of November. We'll be staying in the Scout Hut in Claddagh Glen (Between Florencecourt and Blacklion for anyone willing to drive). Not everyone has SRT experience due to the ongoing saga of accessing the Kevin Street Gym so there may just be one vertical cave done over the weekend. The price will be 45 euro this time round due to the face that we got a smaller budget than expected. I can guarantee* value for money though. Let us know if you're interested and we'll arrange sign up closer to the date.

Wed 04 November 2009 - Cave Diving Talk / Inter College Social

Make sure you join us in Trinity College at 8pm this Wednesday for a talk by crazy Artur Kozlowski, It's taking place in Room 2307 the Robert Emmet Theatre. If you can't pick us out of the crowd phone us or ask random 'older' cavers where the DIT crowd are. Afterwards the caving clubs of DIT, DCU and UCD are all heading out on the town.

Sun 01 November 2009 - SRT Training

Dalkey Quarry was in flood with waterfalls off a number of the routes due to heavy rain Saturday and over night, however five DITCC members attended anyway with all of the rigging gear and rigged a number of trees and the big overhang for Single Rope Technique practise. Two of our new members joined and performed really well, well done guys, you can look foward to doing the same in some pretty cool caves in Fermanagh on the 21 Novemeber.Type in the content of your page here.
